Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Just Drop The Beat ("we", "us", "our"), including the website at justdropthebeat.com, the Chrome extension, and any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Just Drop The Beat provides a web application and Chrome browser extension that allow music producers to upload beats and distribute them across multiple platforms, including BeatStars, YouTube, SoundCloud, TikTok, Instagram, Airbit, and TrakTrain. The Service automates the process of filling in upload forms and managing distributions on your behalf.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information.
• Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with others.
• Notify us immediately at support@justdropthebeat.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. When uploading beats, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to the beats and associated metadata you upload.
• Your content does not infringe the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Your content does not contain unlawful, defamatory, or harmful material.

You agree not to:

• Upload content you do not have the right to distribute.
• Use the Service to spam platforms or engage in abusive automation beyond normal beat distribution.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service or Chrome extension.
• Interfere with the operation of the Service or circumvent any access restrictions.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Platform Integrations

The Service distributes your beats to third-party platforms including BeatStars, YouTube, SoundCloud, TikTok, Instagram, Airbit, and TrakTrain. By connecting a platform:

• You authorize us to access your platform account using the OAuth tokens or credentials you provide, solely for the purpose of uploading beats on your behalf.
• You remain responsible for complying with each platform's own terms of service and community guidelines.
• You understand that platform credentials are encrypted at rest in our database and are only decrypted during the upload process.
• You can disconnect any platform at any time from your dashboard, which revokes our access.

We are not responsible for changes to third-party platform APIs, policies, or availability. If a platform rejects an upload, modifies your content, or takes action against your account, that is governed by your relationship with that platform.

6. Subscription & Billing

The Service offers a free tier and paid subscription plans:

• Free tier— up to 5 uploads per month, limited to YouTube and SoundCloud.
• Paid plans— unlock additional platforms, higher upload limits, and premium features.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

7. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain full ownership of the beats, audio files, artwork, and metadata you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license solely to distribute your content to the platforms you select. This license terminates when you delete your content or close your account.

Our property: The Service, including the website, Chrome extension, branding, and underlying software, is owned by Just Drop The Beat. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.

8. Chrome Extension

The Chrome extension requires browser permissions (storage, tabs, scripting, and limited host permissions) to automate beat uploads on supported platforms. By installing the extension, you acknowledge that:

• The extension interacts with platform web pages solely to fill in upload forms with your beat metadata.
• Platform UIs may change at any time, which could temporarily affect upload functionality.
• The extension does not read, collect, or transmit any page content beyond what is necessary for the upload process.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to:

• That the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• That uploads will be accepted or remain available on any third-party platform.
• That the Chrome extension will remain compatible with all platform UI changes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Just Drop The Beat and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Loss of revenue or data.
• Platform account suspensions or content removal by third parties.
• Interruptions caused by third-party platform changes or outages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You can close your account from your dashboard or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your beat files and data will be deleted from our systems within 30 days. Beats already distributed to third-party platforms are your responsibility to manage or remove directly on those platforms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
